High Pike | Walk

High Pike is a fell in the northern part of the English Lake District, it is located 4.5 kilometres south of Caldbeck. It has a height of 658 metres and is the most northerly of the Lakeland fells over 2000 feet. Learn more through the link below.

The Howk | Walk

This is a short walk (500m each way) from the picturesque village centre to the old bobbin mill and the Howk limestone gorge. This is a miles without stiles walk meaning it’s a great one for the whole family!

Go Ape, Whinlatter | Activity

Whinlatter boasts unrivalled views across Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwentwater and Keswick. Located in the North West of the Lake District, you’ll find us in the heart of it. It plays host to two of our high ropes’ activities, built in 2022, as well as our all-terrain Forest Segway experience.

Oddfellows Arms | Local Pub

Our Local Pub! The Oddfellows is the local pub of Caldbeck located in the centre of the Village, a warm and welcoming atmosphere and dog friendly. Providing meals and lots of great drink!

Skiddaw | Walk

Skiddaw is one of the highest mountains in the Lake District National Park in England. It’s 931-metre summit means it is the sixth-highest in England. It lies just north of the town of Keswick and dominates the skyline in this part of the Northern lakes.

The Round, Keswick | Local Pub

One of our favourites in Keswick! An Energetic pub whipping up gourmet burgers & loaded fries, plus craft beer, wine & cocktails. Definitely worth a try!

The Muddy Duck | Cafe

A kiosk beside the river in Caldbeck serving hot and cold sandwiches, hot drinks and sweet treats. Please note they have no indoor seating and are currently Renovating the team room.

Buttermere | Lakes

The Buttermere Valley is a classic Lakelands postcard: the blue ribbon lakes of Buttermere, Crummock Water and Loweswater knotted together at the impossibly charming villages of Buttermere and Loweswater – like ‘a string of pearls each connected to the next.
